Don’t wait a week or two weeks. You need to make sure that you are creating a strong reputation when formulating your email marketing strategy.

If you know anything about Internet marketing you will have heard about “keyword research”. If you’re just starting out let me quickly explain. “Keyword research” is the research you need to complete before you set up your site to:

* Ensure what you are concentrating on will attract people

* To find a niche people want to know about

* To attract traffic to your site

* To get your site on the front page of Google

So how easy is this? This is probably the most important part of creating your site. If you don’t concentrate on this or focus on what keywords you are going to use you will not attract the right traffic and probably won’t do well. Sweeping statement I know but every Guru I have researched tells me the same thing ” this is the most important part of your business”. It is also the part most people have difficulty with. You see keywords can be divided into three parts:

*Broad Tier keywords
*Focus keywords
*Money Tier keywords

Broad Tier Keywords
These are the obvious keywords people would associate with your product. For example you are selling yoga mats. A broad tier keyword would be yoga or yoga equipment.

Focus Keywords
These are, as the title suggests, more focused on your product. For example yoga mats or yoga floor equipment.

Money Tier Keywords
These are really specific searches, for example blue yoga mats or yoga mats from India.

Each of these tiers brings with it a different sort of traffic. You must find all of these to bring you to the keyword which will make you money. Simple! Well yes and no. You see to really find the money tier word you have to research hundreds of words and this is time consuming. I’m afraid there is no easy way to do this to make sure you have completed your research properly. It is labour intensive and takes time but as this is the most important part of your business then it is worth the time. There are free tools on the Internet to assist you, just enter the words, free word tracker into Google and it will show you a list of free tools. Then set aside some time each day to research the areas you are interested in. Remember to remain focused as this is the beginning of the rest of your life. Persevere and you will succeed of this there is no doubt.
